What you need to know about roads and motorways in Perth and Kinross

Perth and Kinross is well connected by the A9, Scotland's main north–south trunk road linking Perth to Inverness. Sections of the A9 are being upgraded to dual carriageway, so expect occasional roadworks and temporary speed limits. There are no toll roads in Scotland. Speed limits for motorhomes under 3.5 tonnes match standard car limits — 60 mph on single carriageways and 70 mph on dual carriageways — but vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are restricted to 50 mph and 60 mph respectively. Many rural routes through the glens are single-track with passing places, so take your time and use lay-bys courteously.

Communication with Guillaume the owner was excellent. Always available to answer questions and give advice about travel destinations. The campervan was a perfect size for our first experience of this type of holiday. We used sites for our 7 night travel experience which worked well with electric/topping up water etc. Overall a great experience and would use this owner again.
