Inverkeithing sits on the northern shore of the Firth of Forth, just 5 km from the iconic Forth Bridge, a UNESCO World Heritage Site completed in 1890. This historic Fife town has roots stretching back to the 12th century, and its compact High Street is home to the Inverkeithing Museum, housed in a 14th-century friary, as well as the striking St Peter's Church with its distinctive medieval tower. The town's position on the coast makes it a brilliant base for exploring the Kingdom of Fife by road. Dunfermline, the ancient capital of Scotland, lies only 6 km to the north, while Edinburgh is roughly 19 km to the south-east across the Queensferry Crossing. The coastal roads around Inverkeithing are well suited to campervans, with wide routes leading along the Fife Coastal Path and into the rolling countryside of central Fife. You can follow the shoreline east towards Aberdour and its castle, or head inland to Loch Leven National Nature Reserve for birdwatching and gentle walks. With Yescapa, you hire your campervan or motorhome directly from local owners in the area, which means you can collect your vehicle nearby and set off without delay. Peer-to-peer hire also gives you the chance to chat with your host about the best local routes and overnight spots — the kind of insider knowledge that makes a road trip through Fife genuinely memorable.
Inverkeithing is a rewarding destination throughout the year. The Lammas Fair, one of Scotland's oldest street fairs, takes place each August and fills the town centre with stalls and entertainment. Spring and early summer bring long daylight hours ideal for driving the Fife coast in a campervan, while autumn colours around Loch Leven are well worth the trip. Booking your hire through Yescapa during quieter months often means more choice of vehicles and competitive pricing from local owners. For the best selection in peak season, reserve your motorhome a few weeks ahead, especially around Inverkeithing's festival dates.

I had the most wonderful trip in Eve’s van. It has everything you need, a great sized fridge, a large comfy bed, cooking equipment, electrics to be off grid, a great shower & toilet. The van ran very smoothly and was a perfect size even driving through the towns was no problem at all. They were very accommodating, helping me with local tip and recommendations. I’d 100% recommend this van to anyone thinking of taking a road trip, you won’t regret it :)
Inigio and his lovely girlfriend looked after Dolly for one week here in the Algarve area. They brought her back clean and in really good shape. Before and during the rental period we had a very good dialogue. I can highly reccomend them to lend your car. :-)
Our trip was fantastic, couldn't recommend travelling Sicily via Camper further. Angela and Luca made that super easy with clear comms and help pre booking, during holiday and after. pick up and drop off was a breeze. Clear instructions on how to use the van. All in all great trip.
Fabio made the whole process super easy and was very flexible with our plans. The van was perfect. Practically brand new and had all we needed.
Fantastic experience. Raul really went above and beyond to help us out and was always responsive with any queries we had. The van was in excellent condition, had everything we needed, and was ideal for our trip into the Pyrenees, plus heading south for the solar eclipse. Would highly recommend.
