What you need to know about roads and motorways in East Dunbartonshire

East Dunbartonshire is well served by the A803 running east–west through Kirkintilloch and Bishopbriggs, and the A81 heading north from Glasgow through Milngavie towards the Campsie Fells. There are no toll roads in the area. Speed limits on single carriageways are typically 60 mph for vehicles under 3.05 tonnes, but motorhomes over that weight are restricted to 50 mph on single carriageways and 60 mph on dual carriageways. Roads through the Campsies can be narrow and winding, so take your time in a larger motorhome and use designated passing places.

This was an excellent campervan for our party of 4 adults (and can easily sleep 6). Everything we used in the van was great and worked well. The large fridge/freezer and awning was helpful. Toilet and shower worked well. João was great throughout the whole process. He was really quick and helpful in all his communications before the trip, and during check-in he was really thorough with explaining all of the van's systems (even though we didn't speak Portuguese). We had a minor accident, and João was very reasonable and fair about the repairs. All together a very good experience, thank you!
