What you need to know about roads and motorways in Fife

Fife is well connected by the M90 motorway, which runs north–south through the region and crosses the Forth Road Bridge into Edinburgh. There are no toll roads in Fife or elsewhere in Scotland, so you can travel freely. Speed limits for motorhomes over 3.05 tonnes are 50 mph on single carriageways and 60 mph on dual carriageways. The A917 coastal road through the East Neuk villages is narrower in places, so take care with larger vehicles. Rest areas and laybys are well signposted along major routes.

We had a great trip and a good overall experience with Marco’s campervan. Communication with the owner was very swiftly, both before and during the rental. Campervan also met our standards and was in line with description. We were on the road for 9 days. It was our first experience driving and being on the road with a campervan and we did not experience any issues at all. The van itself was in good condition, and Marco was very available for any questions. Would definitely recommend!
