Also commonly known as the south west capital of alternative culture, Glastonbury is also the ideal place for anyone wishing to embark on a spiritual journey. On a historical note, King Arthur is also believed to have come to Glastonbury in search of the Holy Grail. 

Glastonbury music festival is one of the biggest alternative music festivals in the world, bringing together thousands of music fans each year. The festival takes place about 8 miles outside of Glastonbury and is held on Michael Eavis' farm in nearby Pilton.
