This 90 km route traces Anglesey's rugged northern shore. From Menai Bridge, drive through Benllech and its sandy bay to the old port of Amlwch. Visit Parys Mountain's copper landscape, then continue to Cemaes Bay and Wylfa Head. Compact roads and frequent laybys make this a relaxed campervan journey with sea views throughout.
Covering 130 km, this route explores Anglesey's natural habitats. Start at RSPB South Stack for seabird colonies, then head to the Anglesey Wetland Centre near Llangefni. Drive south to Newborough Forest and Llanddwyn Island, finishing at Malltraeth Marsh. A great motorhome-friendly route with well-surfaced roads and nature reserves.
A 280 km loop linking Anglesey with the Snowdonia foothills. The Isle of Anglesey offers a fine selection of campsites spread across the island, from beachside pitches with sea views to sheltered inland spots surrounded by farmland. Many sites provide electric hook-ups, hardstanding pitches, and modern shower blocks suitable for both campervans and motorhomes. Coastal sites near Benllech and Dulas are popular in summer, while quieter options around Llanddaniel Fab and Llangefni give easy access to Anglesey's interior.
Anglesey is reached via the A55 expressway, which crosses the Britannia Bridge from the mainland and continues to Holyhead. There are no toll roads on the island itself, though the A55 is a dual carriageway with a national speed limit of 60 mph for motorhomes under 3.05 metres tall and 50 mph for larger vehicles. Most island roads are single carriageway A- and B-roads with a 60 mph national limit, though many lanes are narrower and require slower speeds. Height restrictions apply at certain underpasses near Holyhead port, so check your vehicle dimensions before setting off.

I had the most wonderful trip in Eve’s van. It has everything you need, a great sized fridge, a large comfy bed, cooking equipment, electrics to be off grid, a great shower & toilet. The van ran very smoothly and was a perfect size even driving through the towns was no problem at all. They were very accommodating, helping me with local tip and recommendations. I’d 100% recommend this van to anyone thinking of taking a road trip, you won’t regret it :)
Inigio and his lovely girlfriend looked after Dolly for one week here in the Algarve area. They brought her back clean and in really good shape. Before and during the rental period we had a very good dialogue. I can highly reccomend them to lend your car. :-)
