King's Lynn sits where the Great Ouse meets The Wash, making it one of England's most important medieval trading ports since the 12th century. The town's Custom House, built in 1683 by Henry Bell, remains one of the finest examples of a merchant exchange in the country. Wander through the Saturday Market Place to find the striking St Margaret's Church, known for its two remarkable 14th-century Flemish brasses. The Stories of Lynn museum, housed in the old Town Hall, brings centuries of maritime heritage to life, while the restored Red Mount Chapel — a rare octagonal wayside chapel from 1485 — rewards a short walk through The Walks, Norfolk's only surviving urban park from the Georgian era. For nature lovers, the RSPB Snettisham reserve lies just 18 km south, famous for its spectacular wading bird roosts on The Wash mudflats. Head 70 km east and you reach the seaside charm of Cromer on the North Norfolk coast. The flat, open roads of West Norfolk make this area particularly well suited to touring by campervan or motorhome, with wide lanes and easy access to coastal and countryside routes. Through Yescapa, you can hire a campervan directly from a local owner in the area, giving you the flexibility to explore at your own pace while supporting the community around King's Lynn.
King's Lynn comes alive in February during the famous King's Lynn Festival of Literature, and the town's flagship King's Lynn Festival of Music and the Arts fills venues each July with world-class performances. Summer months offer the longest days for exploring the North Norfolk coast by campervan, with plenty of well-equipped campsites open across the region. If you prefer quieter roads and easier campsite availability, spring and autumn are ideal for a motorhome tour. Booking through Yescapa gives you access to peer-to-peer pricing from local owners near King's Lynn, often more affordable than traditional hire companies — especially when you plan ahead for the busier summer weeks.

The owner was very helpful and quick to reply. The van worked perfectly and was very spacious. highly recommend booking :)
The RV and Oscar were great.
Gonçalo was great before and during the hire wandering all our questions super quickly. The van was great taking us around northern Portugal and Spain. For future hires, the van could do with a couple extra bits to improve the experience but aware it’s a new listing to Yescapa so will only improve with time!
We had nearly two weeks in Christine’s van as we went and discovered the area of Mayenne chateau Gontier for just over one week for a cycling festival and then Mayenne itself to view tight rope walkers at chateau lassay and enjoy some further cyclists. Christine was friendly and communicated very well considering we are a British couple hiring a van in France.
Patricia and Jorge were great, waiting at the airport when we arived and waiting 30mins at the return when we took a wrong turn. Helpful and friendly. Signed off the return easily and quickly. The van has character and plenty of Km but it was in perfect running order. I'd have no problem hiring from them again.
Frederick was lovely and the van was super. A lot of storage for a van plus a screen that separates the toilet from the shower which is much less of a mess. Big fridge and good cooking area and sink. The water pressure is very good so when you shower you get a really good pressure, having said that prepare to top up your water tank frequently. Lovely trip and a really well equipped and user friendly van layout would rent again!
