What you need to know about roads and motorways in East of England

The East of England has no toll roads, so you can travel freely across the region. The A11 and A14 are the main dual carriageways linking London to Norwich and Cambridge to the Suffolk coast respectively. Speed limits for motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes are 50 mph on single carriageways and 60 mph on dual carriageways. Many rural roads in Norfolk and Suffolk are single-track with passing places, so a smaller campervan can be easier to manoeuvre. Rest areas and lay-bys are well spaced along the A11 and A47, and fuel stations are plentiful in market towns throughout the region.

Communication with Guillaume the owner was excellent. Always available to answer questions and give advice about travel destinations. The campervan was a perfect size for our first experience of this type of holiday. We used sites for our 7 night travel experience which worked well with electric/topping up water etc. Overall a great experience and would use this owner again.
