What you need to know about roads and motorways in Lincolnshire

Lincolnshire's main road artery is the A1, running along the county's western edge and linking it to the national motorway network. There are no toll roads within the county, so driving is straightforward. Speed limits for motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes are 50 mph on single carriageways and 60 mph on dual carriageways. Many rural roads across the Wolds and Fens are single-track with passing places, so take your time and use the frequent lay-bys. The A46 and A15 provide good north–south routes through the county, and most market towns have suitable parking for larger vehicles.

We had a fantastic experience hiring this campervan! It was very clean, well maintained and exactly as pictured. Alberto, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and was always happy to answer any questions we had. The campervan was perfect for the three people travelling in our party and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The heating, hot water and electricity all worked perfectly, and having a cooker and fridge meant we could easily prepare meals and store food. We would highly recommend this campervan to anyone looking for a trip away, and wouldn’t hesitate to hire it again. Thank you Alberto!
