What you need to know about roads and motorways in Leicestershire

Leicestershire sits at the crossroads of several major routes: the M1 runs along its western edge, the A46 links Leicester to Newark, and the A6 heads south towards Market Harborough. Motorways in England are toll-free, with the exception of certain sections elsewhere in the country. Speed limits for motorhomes over 3.05 tonnes are 60 mph on motorways, 50 mph on single carriageways, and 60 mph on dual carriageways. We had a fantastic experience hiring this campervan! It was very clean, well maintained and exactly as pictured. Alberto, the owner, was incredibly friendly and helpful, and was always happy to answer any questions we had. The campervan was perfect for the three people travelling in our party and had everything we needed for a comfortable trip. The heating, hot water and electricity all worked perfectly, and having a cooker and fridge meant we could easily prepare meals and store food. We would highly recommend this campervan to anyone looking for a trip away, and wouldn’t hesitate to hire it again. Thank you Alberto!
