Stoke-on-Trent's Gladstone Pottery Museum is the only complete Victorian pottery factory still standing in the city that produced more than 90% of Britain's ceramics by the early 20th century. Spread across six towns — Hanley, Burslem, Fenton, Longton, Tunstall, and Stoke — the city offers a fascinating patchwork of industrial heritage and green spaces. The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery in Hanley houses the world's finest collection of Staffordshire ceramics alongside the famous Staffordshire Hoard of Anglo-Saxon gold. Trentham Gardens, just south of the city, features an Italian-style garden, a lake, and a barefoot walk through woodland. For literary fans, the Ford Green Hall is a beautifully preserved 17th-century timber-framed farmhouse once home to the Ford family. The Peak District National Park lies only 22 km to the north-east, making it an easy day trip, while the historic market town of Stafford sits 26 km to the south. The surrounding Staffordshire countryside is well suited to larger vehicles, with wide A-roads connecting the towns and plenty of space to pull over and explore. With Yescapa, you can hire a campervan or motorhome directly from local owners in Stoke-on-Trent, giving you the freedom to set your own schedule and head straight into the hills or canal-side villages without the formality of a traditional depot. It is a practical, peer-to-peer way to start your next adventure.
Stoke-on-Trent comes alive in summer, when the Stoke-on-Trent Festival of Ceramics runs each June and the city's parks host open-air events well into August. Autumn brings the popular Potfest pottery fair and golden colours across the nearby Peak District, ideal for scenic campervan drives. Spring is a great window for quieter campsite availability and lower hire prices through Yescapa's peer-to-peer platform. Book your motorhome early for the July and August school holidays, when demand across the Midlands is at its highest. Year-round, Stoke-on-Trent rewards visitors with indoor attractions and easy access to the countryside.

First let me say that Ricardo is a great owner, he was very good at explaining everything to us, gave advice on the trip and was always available to answer any questions we had. He even was understanding of our delayed return. 5/5 The van is as described in the ad, working perfectely, comfortable to drive worh all the amenities one would need in a van. We traveled all around portugal and overall enjoyed our time bery much. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely loved staying in Alfreds campervan. The decor was beautiful. It had everything we needed, a perfect space for two people for time in nature travelling. It was so good having a fridge on the road. He answered any questions I had and the pick up/ drop off was great. Would definitely love to rent it again in the future when we come back to Spain. Thank you!
Patrick was very friendly and went above and beyond his duty to make sure everything went smoothly. He even took us to the station after we dropped the van off. We would highly recommend him.
Foi tudo ótimo! Desde a efetivação do aluguer até ao momento da devolução e ainda depois.
Communication with Guillaume the owner was excellent. Always available to answer questions and give advice about travel destinations. The campervan was a perfect size for our first experience of this type of holiday. We used sites for our 7 night travel experience which worked well with electric/topping up water etc. Overall a great experience and would use this owner again.
Everything went smooth during the whole pick up and return process. The van has seen some life but everything was clean and in great working condition + the price was very competitive when comparing to anything else available at the time. Very enjoyable trip with the van, highly recommended
