Seville's Plaza de España, built for the 1929 Ibero-American Exposition, stretches across 50,000 square metres and features 48 tiled alcoves representing every province of Spain. As the capital of Andalusia, Seville rewards you with landmarks that span centuries — from the Real Alcázar, a UNESCO-listed palace blending Mudéjar and Renaissance styles, to the Catedral de Sevilla, the largest Gothic cathedral in the world. Stroll through the Barrio de Santa Cruz, the old Jewish quarter, where narrow lanes open onto quiet courtyards filled with orange trees. Across the river, the neighbourhood of Triana is famous for its ceramic workshops and lively tapas bars along Calle Betis. For green space, the Parque de María Luisa offers shaded paths ideal for a morning walk. Cádiz sits 125 km to the south-west, and Córdoba is just 143 km to the north-east, making Seville a superb base for exploring Andalusia by road. The city's ring roads and well-signed motorway connections make driving a motorhome straightforward, while campervan-friendly service areas dot the surrounding countryside. With Yescapa, you hire directly from local owners who know the region — they can point you to the best routes, recommend quiet overnight spots, and help you get the most from your campervan adventure in southern Spain.
Seville comes alive during Semana Santa in March or April, when elaborate processions fill the streets, and again for the Feria de Abril, a week-long celebration of flamenco, horses, and local food. Spring and early autumn are ideal for touring by campervan, with comfortable temperatures and plenty of availability at nearby campsites. Summer draws visitors to the region's Atlantic beaches, easily reached from Seville in under two hours. Booking your motorhome through Yescapa outside peak months often means more choice and better prices from local owners, so plan ahead to secure the perfect vehicle for your trip.
Seville is the perfect base for exploring the region by motorhome or campervan. Here are our 6 must-see getaways
Head 143 km north-east from Seville through the rolling olive groves of the Guadalquivir valley. Stop at Écija, known for its baroque bell towers, before reaching Córdoba and its iconic Mezquita-Catedral. The Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos is also well worth a visit. Campervan parking is available near the river.
A short 85 km drive south from Seville brings you to Jerez, the home of sherry. Tour the Bodegas Tío Pepe and catch a show at the Royal Andalusian School of Equestrian Art. The surrounding countryside is flat and easy to navigate, with motorhome service points along the AP-4 motorway.
Drive 125 km south-west from Seville to reach Cádiz, one of Europe's oldest cities. Walk the sea wall at Paseo Fernando Quiñones and visit the 18th-century Catedral de Cádiz. The route passes through the Doñana marshlands — stop at El Rocío for birdwatching. Campervan pitches sit close to the beach.
Travel 250 km east from Seville to Granada, home of the Alhambra. Break the journey at Loja, a small town with natural hot springs. In Granada, the Albaicín quarter offers incredible views of the Sierra Nevada. Book Alhambra tickets early and use designated motorhome parking near the city centre.
This 460 km route north from Seville follows the A-4 through the heart of Spain. Pause at Despeñaperros Natural Park for dramatic gorge scenery, and stop in historic Bailén. In Madrid, the Prado Museum and Retiro Park await. Plan your campervan parking in advance — several guarded sites operate near the M-30 ring road.
Cover 200 km south-east from Seville to Málaga via Antequera, where the UNESCO-listed Dolmens Site is a must-see. In Málaga, explore the Museo Picasso and the hilltop Castillo de Gibralfaro. Campsites along the Costa del Sol offer full hook-ups and beach access for a relaxing stay.

The area around Seville offers a good mix of campsites suited to both campervans and motorhomes. Within the city you will find urban sites with electric hook-ups, showers, and waste-disposal points, while the surrounding Sierra Norte and Atlantic coast provide countryside and seaside options with larger pitches and swimming pools. Most sites are open year-round, so you can enjoy Seville and its region in every season.
Seville operates a regulated parking zone (ORA) in the city centre, with time-limited bays that are not practical for larger vehicles. For motorhomes and campervans, dedicated car parks on the outskirts offer better access and more generous height clearances. Overnight parking in public streets is generally not permitted for leisure vehicles, so using a designated facility is recommended. Check signage for height restrictions before entering any underground car park.
We have just returned from our 11 day trip in Jean’s fantastic camper van. Thanks to Jean and Emma’s good English the whole experience was very easy and relaxed. The van had everything we needed for our trip, touring parts of Germany, Austria, and France. As newcomers to camper van life we learned so much and were able to camp without the need to plug in to electric for days on end thanks to the great solar and battery system on the van and the on board water and waste tanks. Many thanks for a great holiday Jean and family! Thanks from Gareth & Samantha!
Thank you for an amazing holiday. We can't recommend this van enough. From the very first communication everything was 100%. The van was clean and had everything we needed for a three week trip. Everything was explained in detail and we were given advice and ideas for places to visit. We will be back again.
Had a wonderful trip! With Thibault’s guidance, you're in safe hands. This compact and comfortable van packs a big punch while remaining extremely easy to drive and park. I highly recommend this van and owner combo!
First let me say that Ricardo is a great owner, he was very good at explaining everything to us, gave advice on the trip and was always available to answer any questions we had. He even was understanding of our delayed return. 5/5 The van is as described in the ad, working perfectely, comfortable to drive worh all the amenities one would need in a van. We traveled all around portugal and overall enjoyed our time bery much. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely loved staying in Alfreds campervan. The decor was beautiful. It had everything we needed, a perfect space for two people for time in nature travelling. It was so good having a fridge on the road. He answered any questions I had and the pick up/ drop off was great. Would definitely love to rent it again in the future when we come back to Spain. Thank you!
Patrick was very friendly and went above and beyond his duty to make sure everything went smoothly. He even took us to the station after we dropped the van off. We would highly recommend him.
