Tees Valley is well connected by the A19 and A66, two major routes linking the coast to the A1(M) motorway. There are no toll roads in the region, so travel is straightforward. Speed limits for motorhomes over 3.05 tonnes are 50 mph on single carriageways and 60 mph on dual carriageways. The A174 coastal road between Redcar and Saltburn-by-the-Sea is a scenic stretch worth taking slowly. Communication with Guillaume the owner was excellent. Always available to answer questions and give advice about travel destinations. The campervan was a perfect size for our first experience of this type of holiday. We used sites for our 7 night travel experience which worked well with electric/topping up water etc. Overall a great experience and would use this owner again.
