Valencia's City of Arts and Sciences, designed by Santiago Calatrava, draws over four million visitors each year to its futuristic complex of museums, an oceanarium and an opera house. Beyond this landmark, the city unfolds along the old course of the River Turia, now a nine-kilometre park that connects neighbourhoods, gardens and cycling paths — ideal for exploring at your own pace. Wander through the Barrio del Carmen to find the Torres de Serranos, one of the best-preserved medieval gates in Europe, then head to the Central Market, a Modernist iron-and-glass hall housing more than 1,000 stalls. The Albufera Natural Park, just 10 km south, offers boat rides through freshwater lagoons where paella was first cooked by local fishermen. Heading north, Sagunto and its hilltop Roman theatre sit only 30 km away, while the coastal town of Dénia is roughly 100 km to the south-east, opening the door to the Montgó Natural Park. Valencia's flat terrain and wide avenues make it straightforward to navigate in a motorhome, and the long Mediterranean coastline provides plenty of seaside stops. With Yescapa, you hire a campervan directly from local owners who know the best routes along the Costa Blanca and can share tips you won't find in any guidebook. It is a practical, personal way to discover Valencia and the surrounding region in a campervan at your own rhythm.
Valencia enjoys a mild Mediterranean climate that suits campervan travel year-round. Spring is especially rewarding — the famous Las Fallas festival in March fills the city with enormous sculptures, fireworks and street celebrations. Autumn brings the Dia de la Comunitat Valenciana on 9 October, along with comfortable temperatures for exploring. Summer is the most popular season for coastal trips, so booking your motorhome on Yescapa early gives you the widest choice from local owners at competitive peer-to-peer prices. Winter remains pleasant for sightseeing, with fewer crowds at Valencia's top attractions and mild days perfect for cycling the Turia Gardens.

The Valencia region offers a fine mix of coastal and rural campsites suited to both campervans and motorhomes. Along the coast you will find pitches with sea views, electric hook-ups, modern shower blocks and Wi-Fi, while inland sites near the Albufera provide a quieter setting surrounded by nature. Most campsites around Valencia welcome vehicles of all sizes and offer dedicated hardstanding pitches, waste-disposal points and laundry facilities, making longer stays comfortable and convenient.
Valencia permits motorhome and campervan parking in most standard car parks, provided the vehicle fits within the marked bay and does not deploy stabilisers or awnings — doing so is classed as camping and may incur a fine. Several dedicated areas around the city offer services such as fresh-water fill-up and grey-water disposal. Overnight stays are allowed in designated motorhome areas but not in regular street parking. Always check height barriers before entering underground car parks, as many have a 2.1 m limit.
First let me say that Ricardo is a great owner, he was very good at explaining everything to us, gave advice on the trip and was always available to answer any questions we had. He even was understanding of our delayed return. 5/5 The van is as described in the ad, working perfectely, comfortable to drive worh all the amenities one would need in a van. We traveled all around portugal and overall enjoyed our time bery much. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely loved staying in Alfreds campervan. The decor was beautiful. It had everything we needed, a perfect space for two people for time in nature travelling. It was so good having a fridge on the road. He answered any questions I had and the pick up/ drop off was great. Would definitely love to rent it again in the future when we come back to Spain. Thank you!
Patrick was very friendly and went above and beyond his duty to make sure everything went smoothly. He even took us to the station after we dropped the van off. We would highly recommend him.
Foi tudo ótimo! Desde a efetivação do aluguer até ao momento da devolução e ainda depois.
Communication with Guillaume the owner was excellent. Always available to answer questions and give advice about travel destinations. The campervan was a perfect size for our first experience of this type of holiday. We used sites for our 7 night travel experience which worked well with electric/topping up water etc. Overall a great experience and would use this owner again.
Everything went smooth during the whole pick up and return process. The van has seen some life but everything was clean and in great working condition + the price was very competitive when comparing to anything else available at the time. Very enjoyable trip with the van, highly recommended
