Las Vegas welcomed over 40 million visitors in 2023, yet beyond the famous Strip lies a landscape of red-rock canyons, desert valleys and wide-open highways tailor-made for road trips. The Fremont Street Experience in downtown Las Vegas stretches across five blocks beneath a 450-metre LED canopy, offering free nightly light shows that set the tone for a city built on spectacle. Culture seekers can explore The Neon Museum, home to more than 200 rescued signs from the city's past, or spend an afternoon at the Springs Preserve, a 180-acre site tracing southern Nevada's history back 3,000 years. For art lovers, the Seven Magic Mountains installation sits just 16 km south along Interstate 15, its fluorescent boulder towers rising from the Mojave Desert floor. Red Rock Canyon National Conservation Area is only 27 km west, where a 21-km scenic loop road winds past sandstone bluffs ideal for a half-day campervan excursion. Hoover Dam stands 48 km to the south-east, bridging Nevada and Arizona above the Colorado River. The surrounding desert terrain is remarkably motorhome-friendly, with long, straight roads and well-maintained rest stops. Through Yescapa, you can hire a campervan directly from a local owner, giving you insider tips on the best routes and overnight spots while keeping costs lower than traditional hire companies.
Las Vegas is a year-round destination, with each season offering something different. Spring (March to May) is ideal for campervan touring, with comfortable daytime temperatures and clear skies across the desert. The Electric Daisy Carnival in May draws music fans from around the world. Autumn brings the Life is Beautiful Festival in September, combining live music, art and food in downtown Las Vegas. Winter months are pleasant for exploring nearby national parks. Book your motorhome through Yescapa well ahead of major events to secure the best choice from local owners, and enjoy competitive peer-to-peer hire rates even during peak periods.

Las Vegas and its surroundings offer a solid range of campsites suited to both campervans and motorhomes. In the city itself you will find full-service RV resorts with electric hook-ups, Wi-Fi, swimming pools and laundry facilities. Just beyond the city limits, desert campgrounds near Lake Mead and Red Rock Canyon provide more rustic pitches with fire rings, toilets and picnic tables, perfect for a quieter night under the stars.
Parking a larger vehicle in Las Vegas requires a little planning. Many casino resorts along the Strip offer oversized-vehicle parking, though height restrictions vary, so check in advance. Overnight street parking for motorhomes and campervans is generally not permitted within city limits. Dedicated RV parks remain the safest option for overnight stays, while daytime visits to the Strip or downtown are best handled at facilities with generous clearance.

Amazing renters, welcome again )
We rented this camper van for a two-week trip through the Alps and southern france, it was fantastic from start to finish. The van was reliable and easy to drive, even on the steep, winding alpine mountain roads. It also performed exceptionally well on the motorways, with cruise control making the longer journeys comfortable and stress-free. The layout was perfect for two people. The rear seating folds out to a bed and pop-top roof bed provided plenty of space and privacy when sleeping. During the day, the seating area and well-equipped kitchen made the van feel comfortable and practical, while the retractable awning was great for relaxing outside on warm evenings. The owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming. On arrival, they took the time to explain all the features of the van and made sure we were comfortable before setting off. The return process was just as easy and straightforward. Overall, this is a fantastic camper van owned by a lovely family. We had an amazing trip and would highly recommend both the van and its owners to anyone looking for a memorable campervan adventure. We would happily rent from them again in the future.
Incredibly easy- Hector was there to talk us through everything. He was happy to answer all of our questions and gave us excellent practical advice. We felt fully supported abd it gave us a real confidence boost when we took control of the camper. We had to contact Hector during out trip sbout the van and he was on hand and easy to engage with. Ditto with our drop off. We loved using the camper: it was confortable and easily accommodated our family of 5 (including two teenagers!). It was a wonderful way to explore the Basque Country and we would definitely be up for doing it again.
Tuvimos una gran semana con la furgo, yo y dos hijos adultos. El dueño Samu fue de mucha ayuda por mensajes de texto para extra preguntas mientras estuvimos fuera, y nos llevó a la estación después de devolver la furgo
We had a lovely trip. The van has absolutely everything you need, and Pedro and Davids were so helpful and kind. Would recommend this van!
