This 400 km route links Yellowstone with the Beartooth Highway, one of America's highest-altitude roads at over 3,000 metres. Cover 650 km connecting Yellowstone, Grand Teton, and Craters of the Moon National Monument in Idaho. From Old Faithful, drive south through Jackson Hole, then west across the Snake River Plain. Yellowstone offers a wide range of camping options, from developed campgrounds with full hook-ups to more rustic sites surrounded by forest and meadow. Many campgrounds cater to both campervans and motorhomes, with level pitches, potable water, and dump stations available across the park. Sites are spread from the northern range near Mammoth to the shores of Yellowstone Lake in the south, so you can base yourself close to the areas you most want to explore.
Yellowstone's Grand Loop Road is the main route through the park, forming a figure-of-eight totalling around 230 kilometres. There are no toll roads within the park, though a vehicle entrance fee applies (currently $35 per vehicle for a seven-day pass). Speed limits are generally 45 mph (72 km/h) on main roads and 25 mph (40 km/h) near developed areas, applying equally to motorhomes and campervans. Vehicles over 30 feet may find some car parks and pullouts tight, so plan stops carefully. Roads can be narrow with sharp bends, and wildlife frequently crosses, so allow extra travel time.
Communication with the owner was great, van was immaculate, heaps of choice, love the peer to peer concept. Easy to add an extra driver and ID checks were very thorough but straightforward. Changing dates wasn't so easy, the owner was great, but the process at the back end took some manual effort. Teething problems, not a big deal. Main area that needs improving (for me anyway) is the deposit. There was a single line in a table stating Deposit: cash or transfer, that I hadn't seen. The owner asked for the cash or a transfer when we were at the car, which he explained was normal process, but Yescapa could have explained beforehand. I transferred €2000 directly to the owner, which didn't feel comfortable. I had expected this would all be done via Yescapa. I ended up losing €45 in exchange rate variations + fees as well, the owner's bank had challenges which meant it to 5 days to get a lot of cash back. It was lucky we had that amount at hand. I would use Yescapa again. I hope they can tidy up and improve the processes though.

Communication was easy, the vehicle is in good condition and looks like the shared photos. Has the amenities needed and comfy bedding. Having the solar charger is a plus given we didn't drive much, so there was no need for recharging with electricity.
