Mallorca's Ma-10 mountain road winds for 140 km along the Serra de Tramuntana, a UNESCO World Heritage landscape that rises to 1,445 metres at Puig Major. The island packs remarkable variety into its 3,640 square kilometres: limestone gorges near Torrent de Pareis, the salt-white dunes of Es Trenc beach, and the Gothic grandeur of Palma Cathedral overlooking the harbour. From Palma to the medieval hilltop town of Pollença is roughly 60 km, while the drive from Alcúdia in the north to the lighthouse at Cap de Ses Salines in the south covers about 80 km. Coastal roads hug turquoise coves on the east side, and the interior plateau — Es Pla — offers flat farmland dotted with traditional windmills and weekly markets in towns like Sineu. For campervan travel, Mallorca's compact size means you can reach a new landscape every day without long drives. Narrow lanes through the Tramuntana suit smaller campervans, while wider routes across the plains and along the southern coast are comfortable for a motorhome. With Yescapa, you hire directly from local owners across the island, giving you a choice of vehicles based right where your trip begins — whether that is Palma, Alcúdia, or Manacor. It is a practical, peer-to-peer way to explore Mallorca at your own pace.
Mallorca's long season runs from April through October, with spring wildflowers carpeting the Tramuntana valleys and autumn bringing warm seas and quieter roads. The Fira de la Flor d'Ametller (almond blossom festival) in late January and February turns the island pink, making it a memorable time for a campervan trip. Summer is the busiest period, so booking your Mallorca hire early on Yescapa helps you lock in the best peer-to-peer prices. Shoulder months — May, June, and September — offer comfortable temperatures around 25 °C, open campsites, and fewer crowds on the coastal routes.
To help you plan your trip, we have selected six unmissable road trips, suitable for all travelers.
This 80 km route follows the Ma-10 from Andratx to Sóller through the Serra de Tramuntana. Allow 3–5 days to stop at Sa Calobra and the village of Deià. Best suited to a compact campervan given the narrow mountain bends.
A 60 km loop along Mallorca's eastern shore from Porto Cristo to Cala Rajada. Over 3–6 days, visit the Coves del Drac and swim at Cala Millor. Flat coastal roads make this route ideal for any motorhome size.
Circle 180 km through Mallorca's north, linking Pollença, Cap de Formentor, and Alcúdia's old town. In 5–8 days you can explore the S'Albufera wetland reserve and enjoy seafront campsites. A campervan handles the Cap road comfortably.
This 350 km circuit connects Palma, Valldemossa, Pollença, Artà, and Santanyí over 6–9 days. You pass through mountain, coast, and farmland, with well-spaced campsites along the way. Suitable for both campervans and motorhomes.
Cover 400 km in 7–11 days, weaving from Palma through Sóller, Alcúdia, Manacor, and down to Es Trenc. The route mixes mountain passes with flat plains, so a mid-size campervan offers the best flexibility across Mallorca's varied terrain.
At 550 km over 10–15 days, this route covers the entire island — Palma, Andratx, Sóller, Formentor, Artà, Felanitx, and Ses Salines. Take time for weekly markets in Sineu and wine tasting in Binissalem. A motorhome with full facilities keeps you comfortable.

Mallorca offers campsites spread from the sandy northern bays to the rural interior. Coastal sites near Alcúdia and Can Picafort provide direct beach access, while inland fincas give you a quieter base among olive groves. Most sites on Mallorca include electrical hook-ups and service areas for both campervans and motorhomes, along with shower blocks, Wi-Fi, and on-site shops. Booking ahead in summer is a good idea, especially for pitches with full facilities.
Mallorca has no toll roads, so all motorways and dual carriageways are free to use. The Ma-1 connects Palma to the west, while the Ma-13 and Ma-15 link the capital to Alcúdia and Manacor respectively. Speed limits for motorhomes over 3.5 tonnes are 80 km/h on motorways and 80 km/h on main roads, dropping to 50 km/h in built-up areas. Mountain routes in the Serra de Tramuntana feature tight hairpin bends and width restrictions — check your vehicle dimensions before heading up the Ma-10. Rest areas with parking suitable for larger vehicles are spaced along the main motorways.
Had a wonderful trip! With Thibault’s guidance, you're in safe hands. This compact and comfortable van packs a big punch while remaining extremely easy to drive and park. I highly recommend this van and owner combo!
First let me say that Ricardo is a great owner, he was very good at explaining everything to us, gave advice on the trip and was always available to answer any questions we had. He even was understanding of our delayed return. 5/5 The van is as described in the ad, working perfectely, comfortable to drive worh all the amenities one would need in a van. We traveled all around portugal and overall enjoyed our time bery much. Definitely recommend.
Absolutely loved staying in Alfreds campervan. The decor was beautiful. It had everything we needed, a perfect space for two people for time in nature travelling. It was so good having a fridge on the road. He answered any questions I had and the pick up/ drop off was great. Would definitely love to rent it again in the future when we come back to Spain. Thank you!
Patrick was very friendly and went above and beyond his duty to make sure everything went smoothly. He even took us to the station after we dropped the van off. We would highly recommend him.
Foi tudo ótimo! Desde a efetivação do aluguer até ao momento da devolução e ainda depois.
Communication with Guillaume the owner was excellent. Always available to answer questions and give advice about travel destinations. The campervan was a perfect size for our first experience of this type of holiday. We used sites for our 7 night travel experience which worked well with electric/topping up water etc. Overall a great experience and would use this owner again.
