What you need to know about roads and motorways in Brussels-Capital Region

Belgium's motorways are toll-free for all vehicles, including motorhomes and campervans, so you can travel freely around the Brussels-Capital Region without worrying about vignettes or toll booths. The Ring (R0) circles the region and connects to the E40, E19 and E411 for quick access to Flanders, Wallonia and beyond. Speed limits for vehicles over 3.5 tonnes are 90 km/h on motorways and 50 km/h in built-up areas. Belgian motorways are well lit at night, and rest areas with services appear at regular intervals.
