Brussels is home to over 90 museums, including the Magritte Museum, which houses the world's largest collection of works by surrealist René Magritte — more than 200 pieces spanning his entire career. The Grand-Place, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1998, anchors the city centre with its ornate guild houses and Gothic town hall. From there, you can wander to the Royal Palace of Brussels, stroll through the green expanse of the Parc du Cinquantenaire, or discover the comic strip murals that line the streets of the Belgian Comic Strip Centre neighbourhood. The Atomium, built for the 1958 World Expo, stands 102 metres tall in the Heysel district and offers panoramic views across the capital. Ghent lies just 56 km to the north-west, while the university city of Leuven is only 26 km to the east — both make for easy day trips by campervan. Brussels sits at the crossroads of Belgium's motorway network, so heading out in a motorhome is straightforward in every direction, though the city centre itself has a low-emission zone worth checking before you drive in. With Yescapa, you hire your campervan directly from local owners across the Brussels area, which means flexible pick-up points, personal tips on the best routes, and competitive pricing that comes with peer-to-peer sharing.
Brussels is a year-round destination, but May to September brings the warmest weather and longest days for exploring by campervan. The Ommegang pageant in July recreates a grand Renaissance procession through the Grand-Place, while the Brussels Summer Festival fills the city with open-air concerts each August. Spring and autumn are ideal for quieter roads and easier campsite availability. Book your motorhome through Yescapa early for the summer months to secure the best choice from local owners — peer-to-peer hire often means better value than traditional rental agencies, especially during peak season.

Brussels itself has limited camping options within the city limits, so most campervan and motorhome travellers base themselves in the surrounding Flemish Brabant and Walloon Brabant countryside. Sites in the area typically offer electric hook-ups, service points for fresh water and waste disposal, showers, and Wi-Fi. Whether you prefer a woodland setting or a convenient spot close to public transport into the centre, you will find a good range of pitches within a short drive of Brussels.
Brussels operates a low-emission zone (LEZ) covering the entire Brussels-Capital Region, so check your vehicle's compliance before driving in. Overnight parking for motorhomes and campervans is not permitted on most city streets, but several Park and Ride (P+R) facilities on the outskirts accept larger vehicles and connect you to the metro. Always confirm height restrictions before arrival, as some underground car parks have a 2-metre limit.
Fantastic rental, they were so helpful and got us all set up for our first ever campervan trip. The van was spotless and practically brand new. Everything was so easy to use and we just sent up the bed each day as we set off for each new place.
Easy to the find location of the vehicle it was a 20 min journey from the airport. We went over all the features quickly was easy to understand. I had a great few days using the camper and would definitely use again. Thanks
Very nice car rental. Very easy to deal with.
Wow - couldn’t recommend renting this little van from Carlos anymore! Incredible experience and Carlos is great. Thank you so much
La caravana está en excelentes condiciones y Juan Miguel lo hace todo muy fácil. La caravana tiene todo lo necesario y más y la comunicación fue perfecta. La recomiendo sin duda!
We absolutely loved our time with Javier’s Fiat campervan and would happily recommend it. From the outset, Javier was incredibly helpful and accommodating, answering all our questions and requests, arriving exactly when agreed and giving us an excellent, thorough handover. The van itself was brilliantly equipped, stylish, comfortable and surprisingly spacious, with loads of clever storage. It genuinely felt like a little home on wheels rather than simply a rental camper. Another big plus is just how user-friendly everything is. Even if you have little or no previous campervan experience, you could feel completely confident using it. Javier provided clear instructions for all the important systems — water, pumps, lighting, electrics and general operation — and everything was incredibly straightforward and simple to use. Nothing felt complicated or intimidating. We travelled both on-grid and completely off-grid, and it handled both perfectly. The solar and battery system worked brilliantly, the fridge stayed perfectly cold, and the enormous water capacity was a massive bonus — we showered normally throughout our trip and never managed to run out of water! And the shower itself deserves a special mention: such a clever use of space and genuinely one of our favourite features. On the road it was equally impressive. It drove really well, was surprisingly economical on fuel, and its size was absolutely perfect for travelling around Spain. We took it through little roads and villages without any drama and could generally park it in a normal car-sized space — a huge advantage compared with travelling in a large motorhome. The interior design is super chic and homely, the layout has been really well thought through, and there was more than enough space and storage for everything we needed. Overall, fantastic value for money, a great owner and a fabulous little campervan that gave us exactly the adventure we wanted. Whether you’re an experienced campervan traveller or trying one for the first time, it’s an incredibly easy and enjoyable van to travel in. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would absolutely rent it again. Highly recommended — thank you, Javier! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
