The campervan is the ultimate all-rounder. Effortlessly practical and built for freedom, it’s just as at home navigating tight city streets as it is exploring the heart of the countryside.
Belfast's Titanic Quarter sits on the very slipways where RMS Titanic was built and launched in 1911, making it one of the most storied waterfronts in the British Isles. Today, Titanic Belfast draws over 800,000 visitors a year with its interactive galleries spread across nine floors. Beyond the docks, the city rewards curious travellers at every turn. St George's Market, trading since 1896, fills its Victorian halls with local produce and live music each weekend. The Botanic Gardens and the adjoining Ulster Museum offer a peaceful afternoon among tropical plants and Irish antiquities. For street art and independent cafés, the Cathedral Quarter delivers character by the cobblestone. Belfast also makes a superb base for wider exploration. The Giant's Causeway is roughly 100 km to the north along the Causeway Coastal Route, while the Mourne Mountains lie about 55 km to the south, offering dramatic hill walks and forest trails. The city's ring of dual carriageways and well-signed park-and-ride sites keep driving a motorhome straightforward, even during busier months. With Yescapa, you can hire a campervan directly from a local owner in Belfast, which means personal tips on the best routes and a more flexible pick-up to suit your schedule. Whether you plan a weekend city break or a longer loop around Northern Ireland, Belfast pairs urban energy with easy access to coast and countryside — ideal for life on four wheels.
Belfast comes alive in late spring and summer, when daylight stretches past ten o'clock. The Belfast International Arts Festival runs each October, filling theatres and galleries across the city, while the Belfast Maritime Festival in June celebrates the harbour heritage with tall ships and live music along the waterfront. Book your campervan through Yescapa for the summer months and you benefit from peer-to-peer pricing that often undercuts traditional hire companies. Autumn is equally rewarding, with quieter campsites and golden light over the Antrim hills — a fine time for a motorhome tour without the peak-season rush.

Belfast and its surroundings offer a good range of campsites suited to both campervans and motorhomes. Within a short drive of the city centre you will find sites with electric hook-ups, modern shower blocks, and waste-disposal points. Coastal options to the north provide sea-view pitches, while inland parks near the Mournes combine woodland settings with full facilities.
Belfast city centre has several options for parking a campervan or motorhome during the day. Height barriers apply at most multi-storey car parks, so look for surface-level or open-air sites. Overnight parking on public streets is generally not permitted for large vehicles, but dedicated stopover areas on the outskirts make it straightforward to stay close to the action.
Ottimo camper, semplice da guidare. Esperienza positiva
Beyond happy with the whole experience. The motorhome was very comfy and had everything we needed for our little girls camping trip. More importantly the owners were extremely friendly and beyond helpful at all times with the vehicle, the routes, the airport pickups and dropp offs and many many more things! All and all very happy with this experience!

We really enjoyed our travels around Brittany in Clarisse's camper van. It was comfortable and easy to drive and had everything we needed for our holiday. Clarisse explained everything clearly to us before we set off.
A really positive experience from start to finish.
