Navarra's main motorways — the AP-15 running north–south from Pamplona to Tudela and the AP-68 connecting to the Ebro Valley — are toll roads, payable by card or cash at barrier booths. Motorhomes over 3,500 kg are classed in a higher toll category, so keep your vehicle weight in mind. The general speed limit on motorways for vehicles over 3,500 kg is 90 km/h, while those under that weight follow the standard 120 km/h limit. Mountain roads in the Pyrenean north can be narrow with tight bends, so a campervan is often easier to handle than a larger motorhome on these stretches.
