The Great Ocean Road (B100) is a sealed two-lane road with no tolls. Speed limits vary between 50 and 80 km/h through towns and 80 to 100 km/h on open stretches, though motorhomes over 4.5 tonnes must observe lower limits of 80 km/h on certain sections. Several designated rest areas and lookout pull-offs sit along the route, making it easy to stop safely. Vehicles over 2.4 metres wide may face restrictions on narrower bends between Lorne and Apollo Bay, so check your motorhome dimensions before setting off. Fuel stations are spaced regularly in towns like Anglesea, Lorne, Apollo Bay, and Port Campbell.
We had an absolutely fabulous stay in this van, Bruno met us at the ferry port and the process was very easy and smooth! The van was perfect and had everything we needed, Bruno went above and beyond and provided bedding towels etc it was fab!
