What you need to know about roads and motorways in Aragon
Spain's motorways are called autopistas (AP) and autovías (A). In Aragón, the A-2 and AP-2 connect Zaragoza to Barcelona and Madrid, while the A-23 (Mudéjar motorway) runs north–south linking Huesca to Teruel. Most autovías are toll-free; the AP-2 section may carry tolls, payable by card or cash at booths. Motorhomes and campervans over 3,500 kg face a general speed limit of 90 km/h on motorways and 80 km/h on conventional roads.
