The owner received a fine, and the dates correspond to my rental dates, who should pay?

If you receive a fine or toll charge, it is you, the driver at the time of the hire, who must settle these charges.

Receiving a fine:

For all traffic offenses noted during the rental, you are responsible and the sanctions (withdrawal of points, fine, etc.) are your responsibility.

We advise you to notify the owner of the possible receipt of a ticket at the time of the return inventory and to provide him with the necessary information (number, date and place of obtaining the driving license). The owner will thus be able to contest the fine received.

Receiving toll charges:

Toll fees or other road taxes (ecotax, etc.) are not included in the rental price and are your responsibility.

In both cases, our team will contact you in order to settle the amount payable to you upon presentation of proof.
This amount can be taken from the bank card used when confirming your rental.
