The whole experience went really great. The vehicle was fully equipped and capable for road trip in Madeira. It had everything we needed and perhaps more. The campervan itself is in a good condition, so we did not experience anything negative with it, either mechanically or in terms of functionality. Everything worked like charm, and we only recommend a campervan experience in Madeira and especially with this host.Coutinho as well is a great host. Perhaps the best and friendliest I had in my 4 years of campervan renting experience. He gave us many campervan tips from the beginning, eg what to not miss, natural spots, restaurants, bars, parking spots etc. He gave us all the insights needed for driving campervan in Madeira, and he was always available in case we needed something during the trip. He was even so kind to accommodate with posting something important I forgot behind, after the trip.Overall I give 5/5 and I fully recommend both the campervan and the host.

L'expérience globale a été très bonne, le camping-car était ce à quoi nous nous attendions et le propriétaire était sympathique et serviable, le lit et le siège du salon étaient confortables, dans l'ensemble, c'était un très bon camping-car et nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances.

The Grand California is a great campervan overall with only 40k Km on the clock as October/24. Certainly a pleasure to drive been an automatic. It is a MWB, easy to fit on normal size parking spot - just be aware of its height. The handover process was easy and straightforward - meeting point was near Faro Airport. Note that the owner requires the Insurance Excess to be paid by Cash or Bank Transfer, and not by Credit Card as most of us are used to. I would hire again!!

Marco is a really wonderful guy and had all the time in the world to show us the van and tell us all about it. He was also extremely flexible with pick-up and drop-off times, which was a huge help because we had payment problems at the car wash and couldn't get it back in time. Marco is full of advice on everything related and not related to the van, and eager to help, so do ask him if you need advice on where to go, where to park, or anything else. The van itself was great too - a very comfortable sleep and very homey. I totally recommend renting a van from Marco and having a vanlife experience in Portugal. You'll never see the country the way you see it travelling in a van!

Great camper, fantastic way to explore Madeira. Tatiana and Mr Pedro were very coöperative and flexibel.

Serge was an amazing host, he was very thorough in his explanation of the vehicle and gave me lots of clarity, he was great at communicating and is such a great guy. I would recommend him to everyone and his camper is perfect for any trip, so many amazing features and lovely to drive!

Maÿlis is a really good person, she was always smiling! Communication went brilliant. She did the trip with her friend which is also a nice person. We had a problem which has been solved within a few hours and they were easy going. I really recommend Maÿlis as a renter of your van.

A Ognen se le informó sobre los términos y condiciones de este alquiler cuatro semanas antes de su viaje. Desafortunadamente, no respetó en absoluto el horario acordado. Al llegar, cambió varias veces la hora prevista de llegada. Al entregar, llegó con dos horas de retraso, lo que nos obligó a cancelar nuestros planes y realizar la inspección a las 22:15. Además, encontramos marcas y manchas de comida cocinada en la furgoneta, que no estaban presentes antes.

Very cozy van, has everything you need. Nice comfortable bed. It being old, bit squeaky and not modern gives it character 😁We loved it!

I had an excellent time in this van, it's a nice vehicle that drives well. The fridge, lights and charging etc works really good and always had chargeLuis is a really good host, very nice and helpful guy, I would highly recommend hiring this van!

The owner was very kind and trying to help. The only big problem is that he doesn’t speak english at all and it was difficult to communicate. The car condition was very good and clean enough. The only problem was that we didnt have hot water because somwthing was wrong and the owner didnt realized it before we get the vehicle

Auto bardzo fajnie przygotowane. Wewnątrz wszelkie potrzebne rzeczy. Duży zbiornik na wodę. Dobre ciśnienie wody pozwalające spokojnie wziąć prysznic w plenerze. Pojemna lodówka. Kuchenka z zapasem butli z gazem. Przyprawy. Garnki. Talerze. Kubki. Akumulatory i ładowanie panelem solarnym. Jednym słowem wszystko co potrzebne aby mieszkać w aucie kilka dni. Miła i swobodna komunikacja z właścicielką. Dziękujemy za 5 dni zwiedzania Sycylii 🙂

Everything was great, very good way to discover Sicily 🌋🌊🌵

Easy 10 minute taxi drive from the airport (should have gone with airport collection via Andre). Very detailed handover and talk through with Andre who was lovely. The van was exactly as per the photographs. Immaculately clean, fully fuelled and everything worked.Very economical with fuel, we covered about 450 km which was only half a tank of diesel. Electric hook up, solar panels, usb charging sockets and gas powered fridge and shower were all great.We travelled to Granada city, onto the Sierra Nevada mountains then down to the coast and back to Malaga. All in all a wonderful trip, Andre was available via WhatsApp when we forgot how to turn hot water on, he replied within minutes.We will definitely use Andre's van again and would recommend him without hesitation. It was a wonderful trip, one you can only dream of. Great country, great roads, great people. And most importantly — a top-notch car. In excellent technical condition, clean and cozy inside, equipped with everything you need. I got used to the car quickly, though the rearview camera hangs a bit unusually low. Also, a note: to turn on cruise control, you need to press the Set and + buttons on the steering wheel. Filipa was in touch, answering all possible questions, even about what certain road signs mean. We almost parted with the car in tears. I really want to come back.

Abbiamo affittato questo camper per un tour in Toscana con la famiglia ed è stata un’esperienza fantastica! Il veicolo era pulito, spazioso e ben equipaggiato, perfetto per un viaggio confortevole. Facile da guidare, anche nelle strade collinari, ci ha permesso di esplorare liberamente borghi e paesaggi mozzafiato. I letti erano comodi e la cucina ben fornita, ideale per pasti in autonomia.
