David and his family were very helpful and friendly with all the interactions we had with them. They went out their way to help us both picking up and dropping off the campervan. We had issues dropping the camper back and weren’t able to take the campervan back in the condition we received it, we paid a small amount for damages and yet again David and his family were very kind, accommodating and understanding. The vehicle was as described, large, spacious and clean. We had a great time and would happily come back to do France next time! Thank you very much! - Yescapa
We didn’t actually meet Samuel, our hand overs were done by his partner. She was friendly but didn’t really explain how the van worked or where everything was in the van. We wanted to use the second bed due to the main bed being quite uncomfortable, unfortunately we weren’t shown how to put it up. The van was extremely old and run down. As mentioned, very uncomfortable bed, broken blinds, everything was just quite old and worn out. The van advertised a Bluetooth radio which also didn’t work. We rented with the understanding it was older, however, we weren’t prepared for how frail some parts of it were. Samuel expects you to stop at a service station and rent a hoover before returning the van or you get a €25 charge so also be careful of this. The fridge serves more as a cupboard, and we were unable to store any perishable items, as they just went off. On the whole I wouldn’t recommend this van, I’d pay a bit more for a newer van with air con and nicer amenities. Quite expensive for what it was. The van has done over 200,000km and this is very apparent when driving it. Up any hills was a real struggle and it’s a miracle we didn’t have any problems mechanically. We were charged for exceeding our agreed mileage which we completely accept, however, be aware this is quite a hefty charge considering the number of miles already on the clock. - Yescapa
We’ve had a fantastic experience renting the van to Karen and Stephen. They’ve been really friendly, flexible and helpful from the moment we contacted them to rent the van until we dropped it back. Will definitely repeat with them if we ever need to rent a van again! - Yescapa
This simple and cute van gave me the key to explore southern Germany and Austria for two perfect weeks. No hiccups at all with the vehicle and the owner is so good at responding to questions that you have. Amazing gas mileage and a manual transmission that’s better than new cars (seriously). It has the essentials needed - a very cold fridge, lots of water tanks, cooking station , lots of storage, and an amazing speaker system. If I end up coming back to the area and want to rent a van again, id look nowhere else but this. To those who are on the fence about if this vehicle is enough, know that this reviewer was a foreigner , travelling in a country that they did not speak the language, and easily found free camping spots every night since it’s quite stealthy. - Yescapa
I had a fantastic 4 days in Louise's campervan! A really cost effective way to see the beautiful island and explore. The van is really well equipped and Louise has thought about all the little touches. Definitely download the Park4Night app to help with overnight sleeping locations. The van is a little clunky to drive initially, but I got used to it very quickly and enjoyed the experience thoroughly! Would definitely do this again. Thanks for everything Louise. - Yescapa
Nicholas is a wonderful man. Very helpful and obliging. He explained everything thoroughly. The motorhome was very well equipped with everything you need for everyday use and relaxation. Since we arrived by plane and had limited luggage, he gave us sheets and towels and even beach towels to use. The car is impeccable. Very dynamic and easy to park due to its size. We spent our holidays with great joy and pleasure. - Yescapa
The owners are wonderful people. They take care of their van with love and it shows. The van is in perfect condition, inside you will find everything you need, we didn't miss anything. We travelled with road bikes, the bike rack was great. We were given perfect parking tips. The communication was without problems. We will definitely recommend it further and maybe we will come back sometime. - Yescapa
Overall a very nice and cozy van even though it has his years. Very enjoyable and not a single problem throughout the whole trip :) Angelo is a super sweet person and suggested us a lot of nice spots / places, and gave us very nice tips for our staying. The motor home was great. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of room for our family of 5. Well equipped for cooking etc. Marian and Javi were very friendly and helpful, answering any question quickly. They showed us some good places to go on the island and we had a great time! - Yescapa
Super easy hire experience, Thomas was really friendly and offered to pick us up on arrival. He even dropped us off at our hotel when we returned the van! The van itself is great and has everything that you need. We were supplied with sleeping bags when we said it might be hard to fly them to France. - Yescapa

Having never used a motorhome we found the service first class. From the moment we arrived to pick up the motorhome we were met by a very friendly and supporting GILBERT CORNO...excellent from start to finish. As a fellow Volkswagen enthousiast, this was possibly the best way to get around. This is only for the experienced 'petrolhead'. It's big, it's old, it's slow and it shows it. If you're looking for the simple lifestyle, a coastal getaway, surf- or bodyboard vacation? This is the way to go! We rented 2 surfboards from Decathlon Matosinhos in advance and took the with us all week. The owner, Diogo, is always available on Whatsapp with advise and will do his utmost best to make sure everything is there for you. Definitely a plus as he loves Volkswagens too. What else can I say? 5 star vacation! ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ I will definitely be returning next year for and extended vacation. - Yescapa
We were really happy with everything. Everything went by flawless. If you go easy ok the van and do everything slowly, it let’s you go everywhere. We had a wonderful time, my friend and me. It was small, but enough space for the two of us in the little blue van. I can totally recommend it. - Yescapa
My friend and I had super exiting van holiday around the island. The bed is big enough for two people and the van has all the useful tools to have a great time in Nature, plus the turning front seats and shower just make it perfect. It was first time ever - family holiday (2 adult+4 kids) with camper and we were lucky to have host Monica a nice person, which helped us a lot with advises. Campervan is in exellent conditions, clean and comfortable. It was unforgetable experience. In the begining it was a bit stresfull, worried how do I manage to drive it, but need just to start. After the trip I feeling adicted to camper trips. First but not the last trip for sure. The main tip for beginners during the driving do not forget the sizes of the vehicle. 100% recomendalbe. - Yescapa
