We rented Salaíta (the van) for 4 nights in late September. Our experience with Salaíta was absolutely excellent!! The van was charming, comfortable, spacious, and rugged enough to get us to some great campsites up steep gravel roads. We slept better on the bed in Salaíta than we did on our mattress back home. The cookware and the stove were more than adequate to cook up some great campsite meals! The van drives like a charm and took us up some extremely steep (>20% gradients) and narrow streets - we really grew to love driving her around. This is absolutely the best way to experience Tenerife in our opinion, you get to explore the island at your own pace and travel to some of the more remote and quiet parts of the island. Pro tip is to book caravan campsites prior to your trip on the Tenerife government website (Arenas Negras was our absolute favourite - secluded and tranquil pine forest campsite). Sulay was a great host for the van - she was super great to communicate with and incredibly friendly and accommodating. She drove us to the airport when we dropped the van back off and offered to pick us up with the van on our flight in. We had a lot of fun chatting with her on the drive to the airport :)If we ever return to Tenerife, we would definitely book again with Sulay and take Salaíta out for another adventure! - Yescapa
Great experience from the start. Jules communication was great. He met us at the train station and the van was just as expected. We had an amazing time exploring the coast and the hand back over was super simple. I highly recommend - Yescapa
Mr. Pascual was excellent at explaining everything about operating the van. The campervan was new and had everything you need for an amazing time. I would definitely recommend - Yescapa
Fantastic experience! Camper clean and very well equipped, fridge, shower, bedding...even spices if you want to cook! Owners-great people! Very friendly and very helpful any time you need them! Will definitely book the camper again if Lanzarote happens again..Hight recommended! - Yescapa
Brilliant, flawless experience from start to finish. David, the owner, was super friendly, helpful and communicated really well. He even picked me up from and dropped me back to a train station before and after the hire. The van was great, compact enough to be easy to drive, even on the seriously wiggly roads of the Cevennes National Park, but big enough to be comfortable and well equipped. - Yescapa
Van didn’t miss a beat the whole trip. Great engine, drives well. Kitted out with all you need for a great trip round the island. Pick up and drop off was straightforward and a pleasure. - Yescapa
We rented a strong white Mercedes van—just like in the photos—and took it out to some remote beaches. It handled beautifully, both uphill and downhill, and was super easy to drive even in more rugged areas.
Communication with Daniel was fast and smooth throughout, even though we didn’t meet in person. Everything was clear, efficient, and the deposit was returned the same day we brought the van back—really appreciated that!
One small note: if you’re taller than 1.70m, the top bed might feel a bit too short unless you sleep diagonally. The bottom bed is more comfortable for taller folks.
Overall, a great rental experience—would definitely recommend for beach escapes or road trips! - Yescapa
Alberto’s vehicle is literally equipped with everything you need. We didn’t miss a thing whilst on our trip. Alberto is great and if you surf he will even advise which beaches to go to.

Thank you Alberto and Nemo! ❤️🥰 - Yescapa
We had a fantastic two-week adventure with this campervan! The owner's service was outstanding, every question I had before and during the trip was answered quickly and clearly, which made planning so much easier. The van itself was surprising comfortable for three of us to sleep in, and it came fully equipped with everything we needed to cook, relax, and travel without a hassle.A small note of caution: this is a classic vehicle, about 30 years old, so it's heavy and more tiring to drive on narrow, winding mountain roads. As long as you are prepared for a more old-school driving experience, it's a wonderful way to explore. Overall, a great hire and a memorable trip. - Yescapa
We had a thoroughly great experience renting this campervan. The pickup went smoothly, the owners are a lovely family. The van was very comfortable and easy to drive. Very well kitted out, they have thought of everything. Very well equipped kitchen! Also very convenient location for Alicante airport. Thanks to the owners for their kindness! We loved it - Yescapa
We had a mixed experience. It was our first time in a motorhome, and we travelled with our 4 kids to Austria. We chose Woj’s motorhome because it could accommodate up to 7 people whilst also being <3.5t which most normal licenses allow, it was also in a convenient location for that trip and the pictures looked quite good. The pickup was in a public car park in a commercial area - not in Woj’s home. I was a bit unsure about this because we needed to leave our car there whilst we were travelling for 10 days. It ended up being ok, the area is reasonably safe and we left the car in the street rather than inside the car park. Not the best, but it was ok.Woj required a security deposit of €2k on pickup. This gets returned if everything is ok, but you still pay it even if you have full insurance. I was a bit unsure about this before meeting Woj, but he is very trustworthy and was happy to do a bank transfer through Wise to help keep records.Woj arrived on time and came with his daughter to help translate. Collection took 1.5hrs as he explained everything in detail. This was ok as it was our first time, so it was useful to have everything explained well, and it made things easier later. It’s a well looked after motorhome, everything was clean. But beware it’s been used quite a lot (it had +100k kms), so some things show their age. Make sure you check everything yourself and take pictures of everything. Not just outside but inside too. If something is not in a good condition or broken when you return and you hadn’t spotted it before (even if it wasn’t your fault) expect to pay. One issue we had was the interior mirror just came off one day. It looked like it had been glued in the past, and we couldn’t put it back.  We didn’t think this would be a big issue as I thought they were quite cheap to replace and it looked like a pre-existing issue. But when we arrived this was marked as needing repair and we were charged €280 for this after Woj asked different repair places. Not great… but not much we could do about it. Woj got a quote within a few days and was helpful at providing the paperwork necessary to claim from the insurance. The motorhome had everything we needed, but it’s all fairly basic and just the essentials. The plates, glasses etc are plastic. This was ok for us. Nothing luxurious, but that’s part of the experience. The fridge took a while to get used to. The first day we thought it wasn’t working because it didn’t look like it was cooling at all, but when we plugged the electricity in the first campsite this seemed to get it going much better and was fine afterwards. Normally we found that on days we were travelling it didn’t cool very well, but usually when we were stationary or spending some nights in one place it worked well. I guess it’s just a bit of getting used to.I have to say I was quite disappointed with Yescapa in general, it wasn’t very helpful for customer service. If you have any issues while renting, you have to deal with it yourself with the owner as it’s impossible to speak to Yescapa directly, there seems to be no human to talk to and they don’t respond to the emails. They had a phone number for the breakdown insurance (in our case it was Allianz) but we didnt have good experience with this. One day we lost battery power in the van and couldn’t switch it on. We were in the road, so we had to call the roadside assistance. They only spoke in German which we don’t speak, so I had to flag down a car on the road to help us get through the call options to speak to someone in English that could help us. We waited for hours, and in the end we gave up waiting and flagged down another car that helped us jump start the van. The roadside assistance never turned up and we just got a call back that night to see if we still needed assistance… but they hadn’t contact any repair places to send anyone yet. Woj was very helpful to help diagnose the issue on the phone and sent us some pictures of where the points were to jump start the car, which was useful when we found someone on the road to help, so it all worked out in the end.On the return, Woj provided some recommendations of where to clean the motorhome. We slept nearby and arrived early to spend the morning cleaning the outside and the inside. We disinfected everything and left it as good as we could. Woj’s wife complained it wasn’t cleaned to a good standard but in the end this was ok. We’re not experts at cleaning vans and did the best we could. Perhaps it’s easier if they simply charge a cleaning fee and you can return it like you would do with a normal rental car, or like you would do when renting an apartment on holiday. I’m not sure what’s normally done by other owners as this was our first time.Overall the experience of travelling in the motorhome was fun aside from those issues. The sleeping arrangements were good. The older kids slept comfortably in the bunk bed at the back, the sofa converted easily into a bed which we rarely used, and the top double bed was quite spacious and comfortable. We had a baby sleeping with us at the top as she was breastfeeding in the night and there was plenty of space. If we were doing this again, I would prefer renting through an agency rather than directly to an owner. It was ok in the end, but added unnecessary stress to the experience, and Yescapa was not very helpful when we needed them. All in all, Woj’s motorhome is a good option if you choose Yescapa and are looking for one near Munich. We enjoyed the experience and kept great memories from this trip. - Yescapa
It was our first time with an Autocaravana, Carla and Arsenio were very helpful, they provided full guidance how to use everything in the van; giving us some locations suggestions on where to overnight, which of great help. They were also always available when we needed.
Thank you very much for providing us such stress free holidays, it was a great time.
I am already planning our next trip 😁 - Yescapa
Everything was spot on with the camper, the owners were lovely, the pick up and drop off was perfect!! Everything went faultless. Thankyou so much for letting us rent your lovely campervan, If we come back we would definitely rent off you again!! merci!! tres bien!!🤗 - Yescapa
La location s’est très bien déroulée. Le van était conforme à la description et en excellent état. Les échanges avec le propriétaire ont été simples et agréables, il s’est montré disponible et sympathique du début à la fin. Une expérience fluide et positive que je recommande sans hésiter. - Yescapa
Great communication before we arrived which put our minds at rest. The van was just as we expected..it had the bumps and scratches of a well travelled vehicle! The bed area was comfy with clean bedding and extra bedding if needed and all the kitchen equipment was new or in excellent condition, with extras such as olive oil provided! A new stove, table and chairs meant we could set up and prep meals easily. He’d provided a beach umbrella too. Our host was so lively, he gave us lots of advice about the island, where we could park and even gave us a wonderful breakfast on our first morning as we studied the map he gave us! We had the best time travelling around and will be back next year!! Thank you for a really great experience! - Yescapa
David and Marion were incredibly helpful and kind. They went over and above to help our family when we arrived late in the evening to Nantes airport.
The RV is extremely comfortable, with every amenity that we required. It was well stocked with equipment eg kitchen ware and outdoor furniture and consumables (eg for cleaning).
David gave us lots of helpful advise on planning our weeks trip around Brittany.
The RV drives really well and the gas and solar mean that power is always available. We thoroughly enjoyed our hiring experience and would recommend 100%
Thank you David & Marion! - Yescapa
We were very pleased with the trip. Nice owner, new neat car with everything you need for a holiday - Yescapa
The Yescapa experience was super good. Would do it again no hesitation. Just people connecting with real people! Also excellent value compared to the alternatives. - Yescapa
The whole experience with renting the van was very good. The owner was very approachable and responded professionally and in a timely manner. It was a great experience and I would highly recommend it. - Yescapa
Very nice trip, the car was just perfect for what we planned, you can park him anywhere in the parking houses in the city centre without problems, also perfect for out of the cities, good engine. The car had everything what we needed and also the owner was very helpful with all the tips and also when we had the handover everything went smooth, even we changed the hour of return there was no problem. He even offered us a ride to the city. I can say only that would highly recommend . 5 stars everything 💚 - Yescapa
