Steve is a great host, friendly, organised and knowledgeable about the van. The van was exactly as described in the ad. Highly recommend hiring Steves Campervan. We'll definitely be hiring again!

For summer 2019, me and my wife wanted to visit different parts of Scotland and our dream was to do that by the wonderful way of camping in a van.  This was our first experience with the yescapa service. When we found Will's campervan Betty and made the reservation, Will contacted us for some basic information about us and then asked if there is anything that he could provide for us for our trip (we were flying overseas and had limited baggage). He also asked if we needed any help with the planning of our trip and we were more than happy to use the help. I must say that he was super helpful and knowledgeable and pointed us to many beautiful places that we would otherwise have not seen (in particular, the Isle of Mull, it was amazing!).   We started our vacation in Edinburgh and then travelled to Glasgow, and Will offered to pick us up from the center so that we would not have to travel with our baggage to his place. Also, he was thoughtful enough to take us outside of the city center, so we could do some shopping in the big supermarket and didn't have to start of experience with the left-hand traffic in the very center of Glasgow, which would be pretty stressful.   Will used the big parking by the supermarket to show us all the imported features of his van. What we've noticed from the start was that the van was super clean and looked-after. It also had all the features mentioned in the ad.   The van is very comfortable, the engine and all the instruments work perfectly. Driving around twisty parts of Scotland was no sweat for Betty. The ride is smooth and quiet and the seats are very comfy, even after a few-hours trip.   It has a great double stove with brand new pottery and cooking in this van is a pleasure. All plates and cups are made from hard plastic so there's no risk of breaking.   The backseat is very easy convertible to bed which is comfy for two people. The sleeping bag was brand new and perfect for the weather we had (from 8-15 C during the night), we didn't have to turn the internal heater (which this car is equipped with, btw) once.   The pop-top roof is very fast to open and close and is rain proof.   All the small compartments are well made and useful. The van has everything you might need when camping, there is even a small 240V vacuum cleaner which was very handy for cleaning the carpet inside.   During the trip, Will contacted us to ask if everything was OK and if we needed anything. After the trip Will asked if there is anything that we missed or that was not provided but we sincerely couldn't come up with anything.   So, to sum up, we highly recommend Will and his van Betty - he's a great guy and she's a great ride :)

Great experience with this booking. David was always available for communication, which was both very friendly and informative. He explained everything about using the van in a detailed way and was flexible in arrangements. The van itself is top-notch, fully equiped with brand new items and working flawlessly. It rides smootly and reliable, giving you the impression you're riding a car instead of a van. Would definitively go for this van again in the future.

We have had a very busy week travelling through France, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium. Hiring was easy as the couple we rented from were very friendly and supportive - nothing was too much trouble. The van had everything we needed and more. We were fully trained before we set off, with all booklets included for reference and the offer of contacting them at any time :) After such a great experience, we'll more than likely plan another trip - we know who to hire from!

Back from a great trip in the Van, everything was so easy to arrange.  The owner was really accomodating and really helpful.  Pick up and drop of was arranged for times that suited both. The Van was really easy to drive and had everything you need. Would definitly reccomend and will be using again.

Florian and Robyne communicated with me really well from the offset, were keen to ask for tips about using the van and about driving in the UK, and then returned the van in perfect condition.

What an absolutely lovely family to leave our motorhome in the safe hands of. Came to view prior to booking to make sure the van was suitable for their requirements. Kept in touch prior to their holiday which saw them take 'Maggie' through France, Luxembourg, Germany and Belgium without a hitch. Van returned in excellent order. I would highly recommend this hirer to other owners but would prefer they come back to us!  Thanks to Steve, Charlotte and family for looking after 'Maggie'.

Marc was fine as a renter. He had a small accident leaving a small dent on the rear door, but alerted me immediately and the damage was only minor and covered by his deposit.

Danny was an excellent renter with good, diligent questions before booking, flexiblity when collecting and droping off, he looked after the vehicle really well and had excellent communication throughout. I would highly recommend and him and his family are more than welcome to take the Aquavan out on a future adventure!

In terms of practicality this is a very well thought through vehicle. Storage is good and items like the kitchen make best use of the space available for example both the hob and sink have covers meaning when you're using one, you can use the other as a surface which in a confined space is important. The solar panel to charge the recreational batteries means that potentially you never have to plug the van in - genius. The paint job is head turning, you'll be coolest on the park and get plenty of waves whilst driving. When you arrive, the built in awning means you always have shade. Love this van!!  

Excellent from start to finish. Keith was super quick to reply to my messages and questions before picking up the van and throughout the process. Thorough instructions and tour of the wonderful camper before setting off. The van is even better than the photos show, would highly recommend to anybody. It was the best bank holiday!

Perfect renters 

Stephane and Lisa were great to rent my van to, I wouldn't hesitate to rent it to them again.  Everything was styarightforward and the campervan was returned clean and tidy.
