We had the most amazing time travelling the NC500 in Susan!! 🚐 Paul was so helpful from start to finish and made the whole process easy. Would definitely reccomend hiring Susan from Paul! 

The rental process is quite lengthy with lots of documents required. Also the deposit is very high, however the motorhome is very nice and practical with lots of space.

The owner was responsive prior, during and after the rental period. The vehicle itself was good, no issues when it comes to driving it. Having said that the ad didn't say it's a left hand side drive. Luckily my husband is an experienced driver, so he didn't have major issues with that. But BE CAREFUL, if you don't feel confident driving with the steering wheel on left hand side. Especially as the motorhome is big, 7 metres. Could be very tricky to manoeuvre on narrow roads. The most disappointing part of the rental was the fact that the living/kitchen area of the motorhome was not cleaned before we collected it. I actually had to give it a proper scrub on our first evening of the trip... the rugs and seat covers were quite grubby. We bought some blankets to cover the seats. Generally speaking it seemed like the vehicle was last used a long time ago and hasn't been cleaned since then. It was quite disappointing. But the kitchen was well equipped and everything you need was there so that's a plus. There's been some issues with heating (water and air) but nothing major. It's a comfortable vehicle. There was only 2 of us, but I think a family of 4 would also find it spacious enough. Unfortunately on last day of our trip an oncoming motorhome hit our right hand side mirror, passenger side (in a left hand drive vehicle). The insurance excess is £1000, so we had to cover the repair of the damage, which added extra few hundred pounds to the rental fee. Not ideal end to a holiday, but things like that happen... if you take out the insurance, check the excess amount.

Lovely van, well equipped. Owner was great do deal with. Would definitely use them again.

Good, fun loving, group of girls who understood how to make the most of a trip in the camper. They have taken good care of it and we look forward to renting out to them again.

Artur was a very respectful hirer. He looked after Lottie, communicated with us well and kept to all agreements/arrangements. Lottie was returned in perfect condition. We would willingly hire to him again 😊

Great rental! Clearly a well-loved van. Fragile in places but we were happy to respect that and be gentle. Robust and reliable as well. Fully equipped with all we needed. Very friendly and helpful owners.

We had a great few days in this van. It comes well equipped. Nice and easy to drive. Matt & Tori was very helpful.

Excellent vehicle in perfect condition.  Ian is a great "host", went out of his way to provide all details of the vehicle & support us while we were travelling.

We have just returned from taking this motorhome round the North Coast 500 in Scotland. Not only was the trip fabulous but the vehicle stood up to all the changable weather conditions Scotland had to throw at it. The owner Piotr went above and beyond to make the experience a great one for us. He stressed that as the motorhome was 'used but well loved' that the holiday should be enjoyed and not to stress over any small bits of 'wear and tear' which might happen during the rental period. He also supplied two mountain bikes and two kayaks for us to use. The vehicle handled the steepest roads with ease and was extremely fuel efficient. After an hour or so it felt second nature to drive it as it's not much wider than a large car. Piotr was on hand for any questions during the entire trip which proved very helpful when we forgot how to empty the grey water tank! We cannot recomend Piotr and his vehicle highly enough.

We loved hiring Gavins VW for a few days in Cornwall. The van is immaculate, very well refurbished and practical. The hire went really smooth - we wanted to hire it with a couple of days notice which was fine for Gavin. He also accommodated early drop off on our return. Can fully recommend this VW to anyone considering it.

We had a fantastic weekend away in Sarah's van. The bed is a great size, everything is easy to use and Sarah was really helpful. We would definitely recommend booking her van.
