Ford Transit from 1988, changed to AutoVivenda in 1995 and remodeled in 2020 and 2021. Riding this van is a unique driving experience!

Don't expect assisted steering... not here the steering is assisted by arms :) You must be prepared to drive a vehicle like your parents and grandparents used to drive. Think you can't do it? I think you are... I always took my holidays at Transit and believe me, there were no summer festivals that I missed from 1998 to 2007. Pssst, I also leave you with an idea: have you ever thought about those little parties where you drink one more drink and not is nothing convenient to drive? This is the ideal option... you're right there without the need to take risks. Enjoy life in safety.

A nossa carrinha é uma Ford Transit 1988. Foi adaptada em 1994 numa autovivenda pelo meu pai, José António Correia. O meu pai é um entusiasta multifacetado do "faça você mesmo". No início dos anos 90, fizemos a nossa primeira grande viagem, com o objetivo de visitar a minha irmã que estava a trabalhar em França. Da aldeia do Painho, em Portugal, saímos, eu, a minha mãe e meu pai. Atravessamos o sul de Espanha e o sul de França, levamos a minha irmã e fomos até ao Mónaco e Itália. Foram férias memoráveis ​​que nunca esqueci. Essa aventura deixou-me, para sempre, a semente de passar todas as minhas férias a conduzir a Ford Transit. Mais tarde, quando tirei a minha carta de condução, viajei milhares de quilómetros na Transit, sempre a curtir Nirvana, AC-DC, Motorhead e outras grandes bandas, sozinho e às vezes em boa companhia. Visitei todo Portugal, assim como o sul de Espanha, levava a autocaravana para as festas universitárias e para todos os locais onde tinha vontade de dormir - Festivais de Verão incluídos :) Mais tarde, já casado ​​e com filhos, continuei a fazer férias na nossa carrinha Ford Transit... Agora é tempo de partilhar esta princesa selvagem convosco.
