Andrea's Campervan

This van was born from a dream and a great deal of passion. My wife Silvia, our son Leonardo, and I built it entirely with our own hands, starting from scratch. At the beginning it was just a van in pretty poor condition, both aesthetically and mechanically, but we decided to give it a new life, dedicating time, care, and love to transform it step by step into what it is today.

The first real test was a long journey through France, an adventure that took us to Lake Verdon, Nice, and many small villages in southern and central France. Mile after mile, we truly lived in it, testing it in every situation—sleeping, cooking, living on the road—and realizing that everything we had imagined actually worked.

This winter we took it all the way to the Dolomites during the Christmas period. It handled 12% gradients and snowy roads without difficulty, proving to be reliable and safe even in the most demanding conditions, thanks in part to the all-terrain tires it is equipped with.

Despite its compact size—just 5.23 meters—this van is surprisingly spacious and airy. The interior layout has been carefully designed and optimized around our needs, creating a comfortable and natural living space. The kitchen and bathroom positioned at the rear enhance the sense of openness, and nothing is missing on board: diesel heating and Truma hot water boiler, bathroom with toilet and indoor shower, kitchen with two burners and sink—everything is designed for complete autonomy in every season.

This autonomy is further supported by the energy system: the vehicle is equipped with two solar panels totaling 240 watts, connected to four batteries in series for a total of 400 Ah. Thanks to this setup, we were able to stay completely off-grid for three consecutive days without any issues, fully enjoying the freedom of van life (with favorable sunlight, this period can be extended).

Thanks to the two separate systems, the van’s main battery is always protected: even if the service batteries run out, the journey continues.

Compact on the road yet surprisingly versatile: 5 travel seats (2 with seatbelts), 3 adult sleeping places that easily convert into 5 thanks to the 2 Seconds tent complete with a double inflatable mattress (to be added at the time of booking).

This is not just a van for rent, but a true travel companion born from a real story, made for those who love freedom, the open road, and the feeling of being at home wherever they go. 🌱
